We asked Victoria & Chris about their big day —
What made you decide to have a Bali wedding?
We decided to have our wedding in Bali with it having a central location for all of our guests coming across the world. We also liked the idea of being able to have an event and a holiday with all of our loved ones and not just one day that’s over in a couple of hours.
Why were you drawn to your venue?
We chose our venue due to the absolute wow factor when you walk in. A stunning jungle backdrop paired with an insane infinity pool it was paradise from the second you walk in. It also has a split level where you could go down to the garden area and do a reveal of the reception after our ceremony which made it feel like we had two completely different locations in the one.
Your favourite memory of the day?
My Nonno singing for us and the Haka and Jess walking us down to see our reception for the first time with the most beautiful lights as far as the eye could see and tables covered in the most stunning flower arrangements I’ll never forget it.
Tell us about the bride's most memorable part of the day.
Walking through a bridge of all our favourite people and a sea of sparklers and then finishing the night jumping in the pool with my dress on with all of our guest.
And what was the Groom's most memorable part of their day?
The ceremony and the first look at the wedding reception and playing the drums on the dance floor.
Do you have any wedding planning advice for anyone else about to tie the knot?
Apart from choosing Jess and Q events to give you the most magical day of your lives. Enjoy the process trust in your planner because she’s got it and every last detail so you have nothing to stress about. Don’t be afraid to be creative the little island of the gods has an amazing way of making the impossible possible.
